The Story
During her summer holidays, Celia‘s world is threatened when she uncovers her mother is having an affair. As she clings on to her childhood, her imagination becomes her only salvation – that is, until she and her younger cousin, Kerry, stumble across a man’s body lying close to her secret hideout.
About The Film
SUCH A VIVID IMAGINATION is a Young Adult, coming of age adventure, with a dark side - It is the girl’s version of the classic “Stand by Me,” which continues to attract and enthral new audiences. We centre on Celia (13), Hannah (17) and Kerry (11) and their forays into both the countryside and the adult world.
With young girls adventures sitting at the core of recent successes Stranger Things, His Dark Materials and Wednesday, SUCH A VIVID IMAGINATION has all the magical ingredients of a cult classic.

Hey friends!
You may have seen us filming in April. Well, we are coming back to Nailsworth, Stroud for more in August and we would love you to be part of the journey!
80% of the cast and crew are made up of local talent from the Stroud District. And it's one hell of a talent pool!
We have the experience and know how to make a successful film. A few of the projects that our crew have worked on include : The Night Manager, Brian & Charles, Scoop, King Gary, The Split, The Completely Made-up Adventures of Dick Turpin, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry and Alice & Jack.

We wanted to make a film independently, guerilla-style and without having to wait years to be green-lit by a major studio. We represent the true punk spirit of Stroud !
We are now seeking a further £20k to complete filming and post production. Our cast and crew are so committed that we are working for back-end points only, so when we sell our film, we will all succeed.

Our goal is to have it ready to sell in December so it can have a world-wide release in 2025 including screenings at the best film festivals - Sundance, Berlin, Cannes & Venice.
